a handthrown mug, made with white stoneware clay - with the clay cutaway in layers at the bottom to give a tactile textured effect around the bottom half. it has been decorated with layers of glazes that give a fresh hit-of-mint colour, breaking beautifully over the curve of the mug & down towards the texture.
