a creative offering especially for the home ed community, aiming to provide an accessible & affordable way for young people to be introduced to pottery & ceramics, to build their confidence in the craft as well as explore their individual creativity.
in this fun & creative 2-part workshop, we’ll be crafting mugs from clay (session 1) as well as decorating them using a range of colourful glazes (session 2).
participants can choose from making a mug using one of two techniques - pinching or slab building. inspiration & tools will be provided, as well as tailored guidance for participants.
after the final session, pieces will be covered with a glossy clear glaze & fired in lizzie's kiln - ready to collect within 2 weeks & keep forever!
