this guy is definitely family sized - bigger than the other butter keeps in this batch!
a handthrown two-piece butter keeper, made with a sandy stoneware clay. this piece has been decorated with a beautiful speckled blue glaze all over apart from the inside of the butter bell, which has been covered with a satin-effect speckled creamy white glaze. its sweet little face peeks out from an unglazed full moon shape!
simply add a little water to the bottom of the pot & fill the top with your butter. the water creates a seal to keep that butter fresh.
