2-part session: £20 per person
session one (1-1.5 hours): participants will be briefly introduced to clay as a material - including a description of how a ball of clay turns into a functional ceramic object. they will then be guided to make their own masterpiece using the pinch method, with examples for inspiration. after the session, their pieces will be dried and then fired in my kiln.
session two (1-1.5 hours): participants will be guided to decorate their bisque fired pieces using a selection of glazes.
after the session, the pieces will have their second & final firing to produce functional ceramics. they will then be delivered to the school/meeting venue for participants to take home.

whole school/larger organisation offering
duration: bespoke
i can plan & deliver workshops for all classes across a school or large organisation, over a series of full days/weeks - a totally bespoke programme just for you! i can incorporate a specific theme, or create a tailor made cross-school/organisation project.
for transparency, my hourly rate is £48.40 which is in line with AUE rates of pay (excludes materials & kiln firings, which are calculated based on class numbers).
themes
my workshops are themed around making face pots as standard, but i would be happy to tailor a workshop to a specific theme or subject; whether that’s tying in curriculum-related themes or a fun idea to unleash your students’ creativity!
