suitable for community groups of 6 or more who have an established venue/space, from 5 years & up. the one-off sessions are also perfect for childrens' parties!

sessions will be tailored to each group. i have experience in delivering workshops for all ages - including those with disabilities and/or SEND.

  • one-off air dry clay session: £10pp

    40 minutes - 1 hour

    a fun & engaging session with air dry clay - all creations can be taken home with participants on the day, and decorated with paints or pens once dry!

    choose from making pinch pots or forest/fairy houses.

  • one-off ceramic clay session: £15pp

    40 minutes - 1 hour

    participants will be briefly introduced to clay as a material. using basic tools participants will be guided to make a small pinch pot & bring it to life with facial features.

    after the session, the pots will have a single glaze colour added to the inside & fired in the kiln. pots will be complete within 2-3 weeks.

  • 2-part ceramic clay session: £20pp

    session one (1-1.5 hours)
    participants will be briefly introduced to clay as a material. they will then be guided to make their own masterpiece using the pinch method, with examples for inspiration. after the session, their pieces will be dried and then fired in my kiln.


    session two (1-1.5 hours)
    participants will be guided to decorate their bisque fired pieces using a selection of glazes.

    after the session, the pieces will have their second & final firing to produce functional ceramics. they will then be delivered to the school/meeting venue for participants to take home.

  • pottery wheel taster: £22pp

    duration: 1.5 - 2hours
    after a short demo from me, participants will take it turns to try their hand at my portable pottery wheel - with hands-on support & guidance. i'll also bring an alternative clay activity to do while they wait for their turn at the wheel.

    please note: as i only have one wheel, this option is best suited to groups of up to 6 people.

  • large group/organisation offering (20+ participants)

    duration & cost: bespoke

    i can plan & deliver workshops for a group of more than 20 - including whole-school offerings. a totally bespoke programme just for you! i can incorporate a specific theme, or create a tailor made cross-school/organisation project.

other information

as a self employed artist, i have a basic DBS check which can be shared with schools & groups prior to the workshop. i have prior experience of working artistically with CYP within both a school & extra-curricular context. i also have experience of leading creative activities for people with additional needs, including SEND.

pieces will be available to collect from my studio in capel st.mary, suffolk approximately 2 weeks after the workshop date. i can deliver pieces for free within 5 miles of my home, or further afield for a mileage charge of 50p/ extra mile.
